I Am What I Am...

Jeremy Rill has been singing since the age of five when his grandmother made him perform “Over the Rainbow” for anyone who would listen.  Since then he has become an accomplished stage actor as well as a celebrated cabaret artist throughout the country.  The “powerhouse-voiced” baritone has “set the standard” in countless productions ranging from the American Premiere of Jerry Springer the Opera (for which he received a Joseph Jefferson Award) to the critically acclaimed Chicago Shakespeare Theatre production of Passion directed by Gary Griffin.  He was nominated twice more for Joseph Jefferson Awards for his performance as Carl Magnus in Circle Theatre’s production of A Little Night Music and as Aristide Forestier in Can Can.  He has also had the distinct honor of singing the role of Papegeno in the Rome Opera Festival’s production of Die Zauberflote.

As for the world of cabaret, Jeremy has performed in numerous venues throughout the country including Club 3160, Voltaire, The Park West, Gentry of Chicago, Davenport’s, Stage 773, The Keys, Don't Tell Mama's, and Cornelia’s.

Jeremy has lived in Denver, Colorado for the last 10 years and is enjoying great success.  Favorite roles include Bobby in Company at the Aurora Fox, Archibald Craven in The Secret Garden with Performance Now, and Cole Porter in Red, Hot, and Cole at The Cherry Creek Theatre.
